This Refund Policy describes the conditions under which InspectRecord ("we", "us") will issue refunds for subscription fees. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing a subscription.
1. Free Trial
All new companies receive a 14-day free trial with no payment required. We encourage you to use the trial period to fully evaluate the Platform before committing to a paid subscription. No charges are made during the trial period.
2. Subscription Refunds
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions are billed at the start of each billing period. If you cancel a monthly subscription, your access will continue until the end of the current paid period. We do not issue partial or pro-rated refunds for unused days in a monthly billing period.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are eligible for a pro-rated refund within 15 days of the initial purchase or annual renewal date. The refund amount will reflect the unused full months remaining on the subscription, minus any applicable payment processing fees. After 15 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable.
3. Exceptions — Refunds at Our Discretion
We may issue a refund outside the above terms at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:
● A billing error resulted in an incorrect charge
● A technical issue attributable to InspectRecord prevented you from using the Platform for a significant portion of your billing period and was not resolved within a reasonable time
● You were charged after submitting a valid cancellation request
To request an exception, contact us at legal@inspectrecord.ca within 14 days of the charge with a description of the issue. We will review and respond within 5 business days.
4. How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
● Contacting us at legal@inspectrecord.ca with your company name and registered email address
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion, giving you time to export any records you need.
5. Refund Process
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card provider. InspectRecord is not responsible for delays caused by financial institutions.
6. Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:
● Setup fees or onboarding fees (if applicable)
● Subscription fees for periods already used beyond the eligible refund window
● Fees for add-ons or one-time services
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website and, where material, communicated to Company Admins by email. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly.
